              Distress pada remaja di Desa Tumbakbayuh diharapkan dapat terkontrol akan tetapi, kenyataannya remaja di desa tersebut tidak dapat mengontrol distressnya, terbukti dari didapatkan tujuh orang remaja yang mengalami gejala distress seperti gangguan pola tidur. Minum kopi dinilai menggunakan kuesioner Konsumsi Kopi, sedangkan tingkat distress memakai standar Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10). Penelitian ini berparadigma kuantitatif, jenisnya observasional, dengan pendekatan waktu cross sectional, dan desain korelasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu menggunakan rumus slovin dengan teknik simple random sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 48 responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar kuesioner dengan google form. Hasil uji statistik spearman rank didapatkan hasil ada korelasi yang signifikan (p = 0,001) antara minum kopi dengan tingkat distress remaja di Desa Tumbakbayuh, dengan kekuatan korelasi yang sedang antar kedua variabel dan sifat korelasi positif (r = 0,554) atau searah yang artinya semakin banyak kopi yang di minum oleh remaja, maka semakin menurun tingkat distresnya.

Abstract

Distress felt by adolescents in Tumbakbayuh Village is expected to be controlled, however, in reality, adolescents in the village cannot control their distress, as evidenced by the fact that seven adolescents experienced symptoms of distress such as sleeping patterns disorder. Drinking coffee assessed using a coffee consumption questionnaire, while the level of stress by using the standard Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10). This study aimed to determine the correlation between drinking coffee and adolescents’ distress level in Tumbakbayuh Village. This study had a quantitative paradigm, the type was observational, with a cross-sectional time approach, and a correlational design. The sampling technique used the slovin formula with a simple random sampling technique with a total sample of 48 respondents. Data collection used a questionnaire sheet with google form. The results of the Spearman Rank statistical test showed that there was a significant correlation (p = 0.001) between drinking coffee and adolescents’ distress level in Tumbakbayuh Village, with a moderate strength of the correlation between the two variables and a positive correlation (r = 0.554) or in the same direction, which means that the more coffee adolescents drink, the lower the level of distress will be.
