MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MAHASISWA KELAS D STIMIK STIKOM INDONESIA DALAM EDITING VIDEO MULTICAM

Video Editing dengan multi kamera merupakan teknik menyunting video hasil dari dua kamera atau lebih, yang sedang merekam sebuah kejadian atau adegan secara bersamaan, dengan tujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah komposisi video. Pada penelitian ini, recording dan editing bisa dilakukan dengan software editing seperti Adobe Premiere Pro. Adobe Premiere versi professional telah memilki fitur editing multicamera dengan jumlah kamera yang bisa di sinkronisasikan mencapai 4 buah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah Adobe Premiere Pro efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada proses pembelajaran editing video pada Mahasiswa kelas D STIMIK STIKOM Indonesia. Dengan tujuan tersebut, efektif atau tidaknya penggunaan adobe premiere dalam editing video pada Mahasiswa diukur melalui pemahaman konsep penyuntingannya yaitu proses sinkronisasi 2 atau lebih video dengan satu suara. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode demonstrasi dan pemberian tugas. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan rancangan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dikembangkan oleh Hopkins. Dari hasil kegiatan penelitian yang telah dilakukan selama dua siklus dengan penggunaan Adobe Premiere memiliki dampak positif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman Mahasiswa kelas D STIMIK STIKOM Indonesia dalam proses sinkronisasi 2 atau lebih video dengan satu suara pada video editing multicam yang ditandai dengan peningkatan ketuntasan belajar Mahasiswa dalam setiap siklus, yaitu siklus I 62,50% dan siklus II 92,50%. Analisis kwantitatif prestasi belajar Mahasiswa siklus I yaitu Rata-rata (Mean)nya adalah 68,85, Median (titik tengahnya) adalah 70, Modus (nilai yang paling sering muncul) adalah 70. Analisis kuantitatif prestasi belajar mahasiswa siklus II yaitu Rata-rata (Mean) adalah 72,75, Median (titik tengah) adalah 75, sedangkan Modus adalah 70.

Abstract
Multi-camera Video Editing is a technique for editing video results from two or more cameras, which are recording an event or scene simultaneously, with the aim of producing a video composition. In this study, recording and editing could be done with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro. The professional version of Adobe Premiere has a multicamera editing feature with up to four cameras that can be synchronized. The purpose of this study is to determine whether Adobe Premiere Pro can be effectively used as a learning medium in the learning process of video editing in class D STIMIK STIKOM Indonesia students. With this aim, whether or not the use of Adobe Premiere is effective in video editing for students is measured by understanding the concept of editing, namely the process of synchronizing two or more videos with one sound. The research method used was demonstration and assignment. This study also used a Classroom Action Research design developed by Hopkins. From the results of research activities that have been carried out for two cycles with the use of Adobe Premiere, it has a positive impact in increasing the understanding of class D STIMIK STIKOM Indonesia students in the process of synchronizing two or more videos with one sound on multicam video editing which is marked by an increase in student learning completeness in each cycle, namely cycle I 62.50% and cycle II 92.50%. Quantitative analysis of student learning achievement in cycle I, namely the average (mean) is 68.85, the median (the midpoint) is 70, the mode (the value that appears most often) is 70. Quantitative analysis of student achievement in cycle II is the average (Mean) is 72.75, the Median (the midpoint) is 75, and the Mode is 70.
