PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TEACHING FACTORY UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN PENGOLAHAN DAN PENYAJIAN MAKANAN

Abstrak
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan model teaching factory pada mata
pelajaran pengolahan dan penyajian makanan mampu meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa XI Kuliner 2 di
SMK Pratama Widya Mandala Badung, dan untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan model teaching factory
pada mata pelajaran pengolahan dan penyajian makanan mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa XI
Kuliner 2 di SMK Pratama Widya Mandala Badung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas
dengan teknik analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif. Objek penelitiannya adalah aktivitas belajar dan hasil
belajar siswa, dan yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI Kuliner 2 SMK Pratama
Widya Mandala Badung yang berjumlah 42 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan
aktivitas belajar siswa dapat dilihat dari aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I memperoleh persentase rerata
46%. Sedangkan pada siklus II persentase rerata aktivitas belajar mencapai 86,06%. Hal ini menunjukkan
telah terjadi peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus II dengan peningkatan sebesar 40,06%.
Sementara itu, peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dilihat dari hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I memperoleh rerata
72,52%. Pada siklus II, persentase rerata hasil belajar siswa mencapai 84.33%. Hal ini menunjukkan telah
terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus II dengan peningkatan sebesar 11,81%. Peningkatan
ketuntasan klasikal dapat dilihat dari ketuntasan klasikal pada siklus I dengan persentase rerata 64,29%
sedangkan pada siklus II ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 100%. Dengan demikian, telah terjadi peningkatan
ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 35,71%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah dengan penerapan model
pembelajaran teaching factory mampu meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract
The purpose of this study are twofold: to find out whether the application of the teaching factory
model can increase student learning aktivity on food processing and serving subjects in Pratama Widya
Mandala Badung Vocational School; and to find out whether the application of the teaching factory model
can increase student learning outcomes in food processing and serving subject in Pratama Widya Mandala
Badung Vocational School.This type of research is classroom action research with quantitative descriptive
data analysis techniques. The object of this research is the student learning activities and student learning
outcomes and the samples in this study were the students of class XI Culinary 2 of Pratama Widya Mandala
Badung Vocational School which amounted to 42 people. The results showed that there was increased
student learning activities, the increase can be seen from the learning activities of students in the first cycle
to obtain an average percentage of 46%. While in the second cycle the average percentage of learning
activities reached 86.06%. This shows there has been an increase in student learning activities in the second
cycle with an increase of 40.06%. Secondly, there was improvement of student learning outcomes. The
increase can be seen from the results of student learning in the first cycle to obtain an average of 72.52% . In
cycle II, the average percentage of student learning outcomes reached 84.33%. This shows there has been an
increase in student learning outcomes in the second cycle with an increase of 11.81%. Increased classical
completeness, the increase can be seen from classical completeness in the first cycle with an average
percentage of 64.29% whereas in the second cycle the classical completeness reached 100% This shows that
there has been an increase in classical completeness by 35.71%. The conclusion of this research is the
application of the teaching factory learning model can improve learning activities and student learning
outcomes
