PENERAPAN MODEL CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING (CTL) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP DAN HASIL BELAJAR TATA HIDANG SISWA KELAS X DI SMK KERTHA WISATA DENPASAR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X AP 1 pada Mata Pelajaran Tata Hidangan di SMK Kertha Wisata Denpasar dengan menerapkan model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Objek penelitian ini adalah pemahaman konsep, dan hasil belajar siswa. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X Akomodasi Perhotelan 1 di di SMK Kertha Wisata Denpasar, berjumlah 32 orang. Sampel dipilih secara random dari 257 orang populasi siswa. Metode pengumpulan data dengan metode tes dan metode observasi. Data yang didapatkan selanjutnya dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan telah terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar pada setiap siklus yang dapat dilihat dari peningkatan Persentase rerata skor pemahaman konsep siswa sebesar 13.8% yaitu dari siklus I sebesar 71,8% meningkat menjadi 85,6% pada siklus II yang berada pada kategori sangat baik. Persentase rerata skor hasil belajar meningkat sebesar 14,3% yaitu dari siklus I sebesar 74,46% meningkat menjadi 88,8% pada siklus II yang berada pada kategori sangat baik. Persentase Akomulasi rerata nilai pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar siswa meningkat sebesar 14,1% yaitu dari siklus I sebesar 73,1% meningkat menjadi 87,2% pada siklus II yang berada pada kategori sangat baik. Ketuntasan klasikal Siswa meningkat sebesar 28,2% yaitu dari siklus I sebesar 71,8% meningkat menjadi 100% pada siklus II yang berada pada kategori sangat baik. Jadi, model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X AP 1 pada Mata Pelajaran Tata Hidangan di SMK Kertha Wisata Denpasar.

Abstract
This study aims to improve the conceptual understanding and learning outcomes of class X AP 1 students in the subject of food preparation at SMK Kertha Wisata Denpasar by applying the contextual learning model (CTL). This type of research is a classroom action which is carried out in two cycles. Each consists of a cycle of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The object of this research is understanding the concept and student learning outcomes. The research subjects were students of class X Hotel Accommodation 1 at SMK Kertha Wisata Denpasar, 32 people. The sample was randomly selected from a population of 257 students. The data test method is the test method and the observation method. The data obtained were then analyzed using quantitative analysis techniques. The findings of this study indicate an increase in learning outcomes in each cycle which can be seen from the increase in the percentage of students' mean score understanding of concepts by 13.8%, namely from the first cycle of 71.8%, increasing to 85.6% in cycle II which is in the very category. good . The percentage of the mean score of learning outcomes increased by 14.3%, from the first cycle of 74.46% to 88.8% in the second cycle which was in the very good category. The percentage of accumulated value understanding of concepts and student learning outcomes increased by 14.1%, namely from the first cycle of 73.1% increased to 87.2% in the second cycle which was in the very good category. Students classical completeness increased by 28.2%, namely from the first cycle of 71.8% increased to 100% in the second cycle which was in the very good category. So, the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model can improve the understanding of concepts and learning outcomes of class X AP 1 students in the Dish Administration Subject at SMK Kertha Wisata Denpasar.
