ABSTRACT
UD. Indo Bintang Walet is a retail store specifically for Chinese guests and travel guides which has not implemented a computerized sales and cash receipt information system. So, when managing and recording data, they still use notebooks and manual input into Microsoft Excel. This is often an obstacle for the owner because he records twice, the books used are often damaged or not clearly written, the amount of stocks on hand was different from what is recorded. Therefore we need a web-based sales and cash receipt information system to help manage transaction data, commisions, and the inventory. The method used in designing this system is the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) method with waterfall modeling which consists of the system analysis stage, the system design stage, the coding stage and the testing phase. With a web-based sales and cash receipt information system, the owner does not need to install applications, transaction data can be processed and recorded to produce sales reports, commissions and stocks that are interconnected so that information receipt can be carried out on time and in accordance with the actual situation.

UD. Indo Bintang Walet adalah salah satu toko retail khusus untuk tamu China dan travel guide dimana belum menerapan sistem informasi penjualan dan penerimaan kas secara terkomputerisasi. Sehingga melakukan pengelolaan dan pencatatan data masih menggunakan buku tulis dan penginputan manual kedalam Microsoft Excel. Hal tersebut sering menjadi kendala bagi pemilik karena pencatatan dilakukan dua kali, buku yang digunakan sering rusak atau kurang jelas tertulis, jumlah stok yang ada berbeda dengan yang di catatan. Oleh sebab itu diperlukannya sebuah sistem informasi penjualan dan penerimaan kas berbasis web untuk membantu pengelolaan data transaksi, komisi hingga pencatatan stok tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam perancangan sistem ini adalah metode SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) dengan pemodelan waterfall yang terdiri dari tahap analisis sistem, tahap desain sistem, tahap pengodean, dan tahap pengujian. Adanya sistem informasi penjualan dan penerimaan kas berbasis web maka pemilik tidak perlu melakukan penginstalan aplikasi serta data transaksi dapat diolah dan tercatat sehingga menghasilkan laporan penjualan, komisi dan stok yang saling berhubungan sehingga penerimaan informasi dapat dilakukan tepat waktu dan sesuai dengan keadaan yang sebenarnya.
