ANALISIS PENGARUH RASIO KEUANGAN TERHADAP RETURN SAHAM PERUSAHAAN MANUFAKTUR YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA TAHUN 2016-2018

Abstract

ABSTRACT
Stock return is a motivating factor and the main goal of investors investing in a company. Investors use financial statements as an analysis tool in investing which is then expected to maximize the rate of return that will be obtained. This study aims to determine the effect of financial ratios on stock returns in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population of this study includes all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2018 amounting to 168 companies. Determination of the sample by purposive sampling method, then obtained a sample of 114 companies with 342 observations. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, it shows that the current ratio (CR), return on equity (ROE) and earnings per share (EPS) have a positive effect on stock returns. Debt to equity ratio (DER) has a negative effect on stock returns. Total assets turnover (TAT) and price earning ratio (PER) have no effect on stock returns.

ABSTRAK
Return saham menjadi faktor motivasi dan tujuan utama investor melakukan investasi pada suatu perusahaan. Investor menggunakan laporan keuangan sebagai alat analisa dalam berinvestasi yang kemudian diharapkan dapat memaksimalkan tingkat pengembalian (return) yang akan diperoleh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh rasio keuangan terhadap return saham pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Populasi penelitian ini meliputi seluruh perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2016-2018 yang berjumlah 168 perusahaan. Penentuan sampel dengan metode purposive sampling, maka diperoleh sampel penelitian sejumlah 114 perusahaan dengan 342 amatan. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, menunjukkan bahwa current ratio (CR), return on equity (ROE) dan earning per share (EPS) berpengaruh positif terhadap return saham. Debt to equity ratio (DER) berpengaruh negatif terhadap return saham. Total assets turnover (TAT) dan price earning ratio (PER) tidak berpengaruh terhadap return saham perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2016-2018.
