PENGARUH GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN TRANSFORMASIONAL TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN DENGAN MEMPERTIMBANGKAN KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL KARYAWAN

Abstract
menguji apakah perbedaan level gaya kepemimpinan transformasional mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan dan efektivitas penerapan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja karyawan dipengaruhi oleh variabel kecerdasan emosional individu karyawan. Hal ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuisioner di empat PT. BPR yang berada di Kecamatan Denpasar Timur dan Denpasar Selatan dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 168 orang. Pengujian hipotesis penelitian menggunakan teknik analisis varians (ANOVA Factorial Univariate), dengan alat bantu aplikasi SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) versi 15.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1) kinerja karyawan pada kelompok karyawan dengan level gaya kepemimpinan transformasional tinggi tidak berbeda dengan kelompok karyawan yang memiliki level gaya kepemimpinan transformasional rendah. 2) kinerja karyawan kelompok gaya kepemimpinan transformasional tinggi dengan kecerdasan emosional karyawan tinggi tidak berbeda dibandingkan kinerja karyawan kelompok gaya kepemimpinan transformasional rendah dengan kecerdasan emosional rendah.Temuan yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi terhadap praktek manajemen sumber daya manusia. Dimana gaya kepemimpinan transformasional tidak efektif diterapkan pada organisasi jasa keuangan berskala kecil yang didominasi oleh karyawan dengan tingkat pendidikan relatif rendah dan didominasi oleh karyawan yang berjenis kelamin pria.

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to examine differences transformational leadership styles on job performance and effectiveness implementation of transformational styles on performance influenced by emotional intelligence variabel. This study used questionnaire with 168 of respondents in four rural bank district of East and South Denpasar. Hypothesis testing used analysis of variance (factorial univariate ANOVA) technique, with an application SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) version 15.0. The results this study shows that: 1) performance on the group with high levels of transformational leadership are not different than low levels style. 2) performance of employee on the group with high transformational leadership styles and high emotional intelligence are not different than low transformational leadership styles with low emotional intelligence. Finding of this study be expected give contribute to human resource management practice. The transformational leadership style is not effective on small-scale financial services organizations with low education level and dominated by male of employee.
