STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN OBJEK WISATA KAMPUNG TRADISIONAL BENA KABUPATEN NGADA-FLORES NUSA TENGGARA TIMUR (NTT)

Abstract
ABSTRACT
One of the tourist attractions in Flores is located in Bena Traditional Village, Tiworiwu Village, Jerebu'u District, Ngada Regency. This village has attractions including cultural tourism and traditional Bena architecture. This study aims to explore the potential and the right strategy in developing Bena Traditional Village attractions using SWOT analysis techniques. Data collection techniques were carried out through informant interviews, observation and questionnaires. Based on the analysis of internal and external strategic factors on these attractions, the position of the Internal condition is in an average position with a value (2.75) and the position of the External condition is at a high position with a value (3.12). Based on the Internal-External Matrix, Bena Traditional Village attractions are in cell II positions categorized in the growth strategy, and adjusted to the results of SWOT Matrix analysis, the right alternative strategy in developing Bena Traditional Village tourism objects is developing attractions by creating various attractions as well as new tourist attractions and maintaining the authenticity of the village.

Salah satu objek wisata di Flores terletak di Kampung Tradisional Bena, Desa Tiworiwu, Kecamatan Jerebu’u, Kabupaten Ngada. Kampung ini memiliki objek wisata diantaranya wisata budaya dan seni arsitektur tradisional Bena. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali potensi serta strategi yang tepat dalam mengembangkan objek wisata Kampung Tradisional Bena dengan menggunakan teknik analisis SWOT. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara informan, observasi dan kuesioner. Berdasarkan analisis faktor strategis internal dan eksternal pada objek wisata ini, maka posisi kondisi Internal berada pada posisi rata-rata dengan nilai (2,75) dan posisi kondisi Eksternal berada pada posisi tinggi dengan nilai (3,12). Berdasarkan Matrix Internal-Eksternal tersebut, objek wisata Kampung Tradisional Bena berada pada posisi sel II yang dikategorikan dalam strategi pertumbuhan, serta disesuaikan dengan hasil analisis Matrix SWOT maka alternatif strategi yang tepat dalam mengembangkan objek wisata Kampung Tradisional Bena yaitu mengembangkan objek wisata dengan menciptakan beragam atraksi maupun daya tarik wisata baru serta mempertahankan keaslian Kampung.
