Abstract

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to prove that the cream leaves binahong can increase the number of neovascularisasi, the number of fibroblasts and accelerate the closure of epithelium in rats (Rattus norvegicus) males are injured. This research is experimental research, with the post test only control group design using 28 male wistar rats which were wounded. The selection of the sample is done on a random, divided into 4 groups, i.e. 2 the control group who were given a placebo cream for 4 and 8 days and two groups who were given treatment cream leaves binahong to 4 and 8 days. After that is done taking the skin of mice at the cuts to do the coloring of hematoxylin eosin and seen the results of histopatologi to see the choroidal, fibroblasts and closing epitel. The results show average choroidal Group (P0) is ± 10,71 1,799, group (P1) is ± 14,43 0,976, group (P2) are the 9,71 ± 3,817, and group (P3) is ± 7,29 1,496 (p < 0.01). Research results also showed the number of fibroblasts in cell groups (P0) was 117,43 ± 14,022, at kelompo (P1) was 104,71 ± 27,415, group (P2) was 81,57 ± 30,010, and the Group (P3) was 51,29 ± 13,238 (p < 0.01). In addition, the results of the study also showed a crack group of epithelial (P0) was 4575.86 ± 1420.89 μm, group (P1) was 1571.78 ± 1082.78 μm,the Group (P2) was 1903.83 ± 1252.96 μm, and the Group (P3) was 302.19 ± 799.54 μm (p < 0.01). Conclusion: The granting of leaves of binahong cream on wound can increase the amount of choroidal, decreasing the number of fibroblasts and decreasing the closure of the epithelium.
