Abstract

Latar Belakang: Osteoarthritis atau yang sering disebut masyarakat umum sebagai pengapuran sendi, merupakan suatu proses degeneratif pada persendian dan sering dijumpai di masyarakat. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui efektivitas kombinasi bosu ball exercise dan core stability exercise terhadap peningkatan kemampuan fungsional pada pasien dengan osteoarthritis lutut. Metode:Desain penelitian ini adalah pre-posttest control group design. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 20 orang yang dipilih dengan teknik consecutive sampling dan dibagi menjadi dua kelompok penelitian dengan berjumlah 10 orang untuk masing-masing kelompok. Kelompok 1 akan diberikan intervensi bosu ball exercise + core stability exercise dan kelompok 2 hanya diberikan intervensi core stability exercise saja. Pengukuran dilakukan dengan time up and go test  dan kuisioner WOMAC. Hasil: Uji paired t-test pada masing-masing kelompok didapatkan p<0,05, dan uji independent t-test p<0,05 Kesimpulan: Kombinasi bosu ball exercise dan core stability exercise dapat meningkatkan kemampuan fungsional pasien osteoarthritis lutut Implikasi: kombinasi intervensi ini dapat dijadikan pedoman dalam memberikan latihan pada pasien
