SKRINNING FITOKIMIA EKSTRAK ETANOL DAUN PANCASONA (Tinospora coriaceae Beumee.)

Abstract
The widespread biodiversity of flora and fauna such as, ranging from higher species to lower species have bioactive compounds . A wide variety of plantsae used as medicine by the people of Bali as written in the form of “Lontar Usada”. The Usada Taru Premana recorded 168 species of plants that have efficacy as medicines. The existing plants are used to treat stomach aches , eye problems, skin problems, as well as other diseases. One of the plants listed in Usada Taru Premana is the Pancasona plant (Tinospora Beumee coriacea ), which serves as a cure for diarrhea. Diseases cured by Pancasona plants are generally caused by bacterial infection. So it can be assumed that this plant contained a compound that has anti bacterial actives. So it is necessary to conduct a phytochemical content research of these plants as a potential antibacterial phytochemical test method. In this research, maceration method using 85 % ethanol metabolites is used to pull content contained in the plant and for the antibacterial test using test bacteria Micrococcus luteus and Escherichia coli. The results showed the samples obtained from 500 g of concentrated extract weighing 10.50 g. Test results showed antibacterial Pancasona leaves ethanol extracts have inhibitory activity for the bacteria M. Luteus and E. coli by 3.6 mm and 2.5 mm. The results showed that the screening of leaf samples Pancasona (Tinospora coriaceae Beumee.) contain alkaloids, flavonoids, polyphenols, steroids, and terpenoids.
