PERBEDAAN KONSUMSI ZINC PADA ANAK PENDIDIKAN ANAK USIA DINI (PAUD) YANG STUNTED DENGAN YANG TIDAK STUNTEDDI KOTA DENPASAR

Abstract
Zinc is a kind of micro minerals the body needs only a little bit, but it is important for child development. Stunted is a category based on anthropometric indices of nutritional status of TB/U where the value of the z-score less than - 2 Standard Deviation (SD). To study difference of zinc consumption inearly childhood education students who are stunted and non-stunted in denpasar. The research methods used were interviews, data collection using questionnaire form sample identity (gender, age, and height), while respondents identifying (name, last education, and occupation) and feed consumption data samples measured using semi quantitatif – foof frequency questionnarie (SQ-FFQ). The study was analytic observational with case control. . Data analysis used Chi-Square test.Subject of the study were 68 students of early childhood education in Denpasar are divided into two, 34 case (stunted) and 34 control (non-stunted).The result is in case samples most of the age 4 - 5 years (94.1% ) with female (61.8%), while the control samples was also the age of 4 - 5 years (88.2%) but the majority of the male (64.7%). Based on the education level of the respondents, the majority of cases and controls have a diploma (73.5%) and graduate (88.2%). Based on the job, most of the cases and controls are working in the private sector with the same percentage (67.6%). Average zinc intake of total food consumed by case samples is 8.3 mg and 10.8 mg in the control samples. Differences between cases and controls when viewed from the recommended dietary allowance figure it is seen that the case of zinc consumption is less than the AKG number of 31 samples (91.2%) of the 34 sample cases, while the amount of control that greater consumption is equal to the number of AKG 31 samples (91.2%). There are difference of zinc consumption inearly childhood education students who are stunted and non-stunted in denpasar with Chi-Square statistical test values p = 0.000 (p < 0.05).
