As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Jakadiksi: Jurnal Vokasi (Journal on Vocational) is a national scientific journals are open to seeking innovation, creativity and novelty. Jakadiksi is a peer review journal published by the Research and Community Service Institute of Universitas Dhyana Pura Bali. The aim of the journal is to facilitate scientific publication of the results of researches in Indonesia and participate to boost the quality and quantity of research for academics and researchers. Jakadiksi is published on May and November by publishing research results and critical analysis studies in the field of Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage Service, Food and Beverage Product, marketing management, Digital Business, Digital Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Social and Cultural, Tourism, and Sustainable Tourism.

The manuscript text general guidelines are as follows:

  1. The manuscript must be about aims and scope Vocational.
  2. The manuscript must be original, based on research, has never been published, and is not being sent to other journals.
  3. The length of the article is between 3.000 - 6.000 words (including abstracts, figures, tables and bibliography), and typed in one spaces.
  4. The manuscript written in Microsoft Word on A4-size paper (21 cm x 29,7 cm), font size 11, Times New Roman, 4 cm top and left margins, 3 cm bottom and right margins, and typed in one spaces. The first sentence of the paragraph is typed indent 1 cm.
  5. The manuscript can be written in Indonesian or in English.
  6. Include an abstract in Indonesian and in English, maximum length is 200 - 250 words.
  7. The abstract contains: background, write a narrative consists goals/objectives, methods, and findings of the research, methods, conclusions, and provide 3-5 keywords.
  8. The title of the article is concise, represents the content, a maximum length of it is 20 words. The title in English it is written in Times New Roman font 14 bold, the title in Indonesian it is written in Times New Roman font 12 bold, with capital letters only for the beginning of each word except the conjunctions remain in lowercase.
  9. The author's name is written without academic degree, accompanied by institutional affiliation, and the e-mail address of the corresponding author. If necessary, there may be more than one affiliate name.
  10. The structure of the manuscript basically consists of: 1. Introduction, 2. Literature Review, 3. Method and Theory, 4. Result and Discussion, 5. Conclusions, Bibliography.
  11. The introduction is written concisely which basically contains the background of the writing, purpose, reason, novelty or gap, benefit or contribution.
  12. The method describes the approach or theory, data sources, data collection techniques, analysis techniques.
  13. The discussion contains the main analysis and this section can be divided into several sections (subheading).
  14. Conclusions contain confirmation of the results of the analysis and limitations of the article or research.
  15. References are written in the text, with the author's name and year, while for the word-for-word or sentence excerpt, fill in the year and page number (Waruwu, 2022) or Utama (2021).
  16. The block quotation must be written one space, indent 1 cm with a font size of 11.
  17. The manuscript must contain illustrations of images or photos posted in the discussion section and accompanied by reference numbers. The photo is filled with a brief description and name of the photographer/illustrator. It is the responsible of the author to ensure the right to use all images/ photos/ figures.
  18. The use of tables should also be referred to with clear numbers in the text, placed close to the explanation section. Table title is written on top of table, source is written under Table.
  19. Every source cited in the body of the article must appear in the Bibliography, and all sources that appear in the Bibliography must be quoted in the body of the article.
  20. Minimum number of references is 20 items. Sources cited at least 80% come from those published in the last 10 years. Sources cited are the main sources in the form of journal articles, books and research reports, including theses and dissertations.
