ABSTRAK
Peningkatan Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar Bahasa Inggris Melalui Metode Guided Note Taking Pada
mahasiswa Akuntansi Universitas Triatma Mulya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan
motivasi dan hasil belajar bahasa Inggris melalui metode guided note taking. Penelitian ini
menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Setiap siklus
terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian tindakan kelas ini
adalah mahasiswa akuntansi semester 8 Universitas Triatma Mulya yang berjumlah 20 orang
mahasiswa terdiri dari 3 mahasiswa laki-laki dan 17 perempuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan
bahwa penerapan metode guided note taking dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar bahasa

Improving Motivation and Learning Result through Guided Note Taking Method on Triatma Mulya
University students. The aims of this research is to improve student’s motivation and English
learning results through guided note-taking methods. This research is a classroom action research
that is done on three cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection.
The subject of the research was the students of Triatma Mulya University, consisting of 20 students,
3 boys, and 17 girls. The result shows that the implementation guided note-taking method is able to
improve student’s motivation and learning results of English for the students of Triatma Mulya
University.
